Acer Aspire Desktop PC X ASX5810-A40F

In addition to two new Aspire M desktops, Acer launches also the Aspire X ASX5810-A40F desktop PC in Japan. Like the new Aspire Ms, the ASX5810-A40F is also powered by quad core processor.

Acer’s ASX5810-A40F boasts an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33GHz processor, 3GB RAM, and a NVIDIA GeForce GT120 graphics card with 1GB RAM. It has a 1TB hard drive and a DVD SuperMulti burner. There are an eSATA port, a DVI-I, HDMI port, Ethernet port and nine USB 2.0 connectors.

The Acer Aspire X ASX5810-A40F runs Windows Vista Home Premium. It is priced at 129,800 Yen including a 20-inch LCD display.

Aspire Timeline 8000-series notebook

Acer will launch in Europe market the new Aspire Timeline 8000-series notebook. Three models will be released, the 13.3-inch Timeline 8371, 14.1-inch Timeline 8471 and the 15.6-inch Timeline 8571. These notebooks have similar configurations.

They can be equipped with Intel’s Core 2 Duo SU9400 or SU9600 processor and other options are also available. Acer’s new notebooks have up to 8GB RAM and either an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 or Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics card. Hard drive up to 500GB or 80GB Intel X-25-M SSD can be packed.

Other features include WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, multi-in-one card reader, fingerprint reader, webcam, and optional 3G/HSDPA module.

Vivitek H1080FD budget 1080p Full HD projector

Vivitek officially announced the H1080FD budget-priced at 1080p Full HD projector. Priced at $999, the H1080FD is based on DLP display technology and features 1920×1080 native resolution, 1800 lumens brightness, 5000:1 contrast ratio.

The Vivitek H1080FD offers two HDMI port, Composite Video, S-video, Component video, RS-232c and a 12v Trigger ports. The projector will be released in August 2009.
